PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Galvanized coil is a type of surface-treated steel sheet with a zinc coating, designed to enhance its corrosion resistance and durability. With a high yield strength of 235MPa, galvanized coil is suitable for a wide range of applications in various industries.
Produced through the continuous galvanizing process, galvanized coil undergoes a meticulous treatment where rolls of steel sheet are continuously immersed in a bath of molten zinc. This process ensures a uniform and durable zinc coating on the surface of the steel sheet, providing excellent protection against rust and corrosion.
In addition to the traditional hot dipping method, galvanized coil can also be manufactured using an alloying process. This involves heating the steel sheet to about 500°C after it is dipped in the zinc bath, resulting in a coating of zinc and iron that offers superior paint adhesion and weldability.
Overall, galvanized coil is a versatile and reliable material that is widely used in construction, automotive, and manufacturing industries for its exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and ease of fabrication.
