PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

45# carbon steel is a high-quality carbon structural steel of Chinese standard, and its performance is equivalent to Japanese standard S45C, American standard 1045 and German standard C45. Compared with ordinary A3 steel, 45# carbon steel has higher strength and deformation resistance, and is suitable for applications with high requirements for strength and hardness. As a medium carbon steel, 1045 carbon steel has a carbon content between 0.12% and 2%, and has excellent dimensional accuracy, concentricity and straightness, which can effectively reduce wear during high-speed operation. APPLICATION

1045 carbon steel is widely used in machinery manufacturing due to its excellent mechanical properties. in its untreated state, the hardness is hb ≤229. after heat treatment, specifically normalizing, the impact energy is aku ≥39j. this material offers high strength along with moderate plasticity and toughness. before tempering, quenched 1045 carbon steel achieves a hardness greater than hrc55 (up to hrc62), meeting quality standards. after tempering, the hardness adjusts to hrc42-46, ensuring both excellent mechanical performance and the required surface hardness. it is ideal for producing small-section tempered components subjected to heavy loads, large normalized parts with low-stress demands, and surface-quenched parts with minimal core strength requirements, such as pins, guide pillars, and dials.
